Internships/Externships with The Country Club of Virginia
The Country Club of Virginia is one of America's oldest and finest private, member-owned clubs and has been consistently ranked among the best country clubs by the Club Leaders Forum. Located in Richmond, Virginia, CCV was organized in 1908, and has always been one of the nation's largest full-service country clubs. As an intern you will tour the Club’s culinary outlets including:


Baking and Pastry

Entry-level position in the Club’s bake shop which provides from-scratch pastries and desserts for all banquets and the four-year round dining outlets



This upscale Steakhouse and Gastro Pub is the Club’s premier restaurant and uses the finest local and regional ingredients combined with modern cooking techniques to provide the best meals in town to the membership


Poolside Café

A fast-paced culinary outlet providing light and healthy meals for the Club’s five-pool aquatics complex


The Grill

This fast-paced family restaurant provides homemade favorites and upscale Southern cuisine
seven days a week


Cool Springs Café

As part of a renovation and expansion of the Fitness Center, the Café brings a fast-casual offering to the Club, with a healthy twist, featuring poke bowls and wood-fired pizzas


Banquets and Special Events

Our large-scale banquet operation provides service for events up to 1200 people within the Club’s two ballrooms, grand terrace, and six private rooms


James River Clubhouse

The James River Clubhouse supports two of the Club’s golf courses and hosts the PGA TOUR Champions Dominion Energy Charity Classic golf tournament. The property also houses the “Farmhouse,” where we offer large-scale rustic events under the stars.
