SUMMARY Develop and implement a fun, fair, organized and competitive dive program while maintaining a clean and safe environment.
EXPECTATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Provide platinum service while maintaining a clean and safe environment for members, guests, and staff
Coach and counsel team members and enforce regulations
Communicate with parents
Instruct proper skill development
Supervise Assistant Coaches during meets and practices
Prepare for and attend all meets
Attend regular meetings with dive reps and Aquatics Manager
Prepare Team Talk newsletter
Assist Aquatics Manager with organizing Swim Team Banquet
Supervise children during special events such as outings and parties
- Know JRAC rules
- Select, organize, and order team trophies
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school education or GED; and six months to one year related experience or training.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
CPR and First Aid
US Diving Safety

This job will also require the employee to spot children in the water and to demonstrate diving technique.
