The Country Club of Virginia is seeking a full-time Storeroom/Stockroom Handler to join the Purchasing department. Primary duties include receiving deliveries, ensuring accuracy of order and quality of goods, storing and rotating inventory, ensuring cleanliness and organization of the storeroom, assisting in placing orders, and delivery and pick-up of items to and from the appropriate departments.
Scheduled shifts are primarily between the hours of 6:00 AM and 5:00 PM except on inventory days when shift may last until 8:00 PM. Schedule includes weekends, holidays, and some overtime hours.
All storeroom staff are required to work on inventory day, which is always the last day of the month.
Qualified candidates will demonstrate an eye for detail, ability to multitask while staying organized, legible handwriting, excellent verbal communication skills, and ability to work well with others. Experience preferred.
Valid license and good driving record required. All applicants must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.
