Summary: The Assistant Kitchen Manager shall provide leadership for the staff ensuring a quality experience for both members and staff while maintaining a clean and safe environment.  
-Provide platinum service to members, guests, and coworkers
-Ensure a clean and safe environment
-Know and embrace the mission statement
-Know and embrace the platinum service basics
Essential Duties:       
Provide overall team leadership
Provide direction to the Pool Snack Bar Culinary staff and assist them with food preparation
Assist Chef with training new employees
Assist Chef with creating menus                     
Assist Chef with completing inventory
Assist with employee meal production
Attend CCV Professional Development Seminar
Provide assistance with the production of food during meal hours                    
Supervisory Responsibilities:                      
Directly supervise 10-15 employees
Responsible for interviewing and selecting staff
Responsible for training
Responsible for planning and assigning work
Responsible for appraising performance
Responsible for rewarding and disciplining staff
Responsible for addressing complaints and resolving problems
Responsible for maintaining inventory
Education and Experience: 
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
Experienced required (2 years)
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel systems
Physical Demands:   
The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job:
Employee is required to regularly stand and walk
Employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
Employee is required to stand for lengthy periods of time
Employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers
Employee is regularly required to stand and reach with hands and arms
Employee is regularly required climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts
Minimum Age Requirement:
It is Club policy not to hire any employee under the age of 16
Must be at least 18 years old in order to serve alcohol
Must be at least 21 years old in order to tend bar (includes all Banquets serving staff)
Equipment Used:
All associated kitchen equipment
