Summary: Receive, requisition, and secure all food-and-beverage-related inventory.   
 
Expectations:  
  • Provide platinum service while maintaining a clean and safe environment for members, guests, and staff
  • Know and embrace the mission statement and platinum service basics
  • Must be able to multitask and have legible handwriting
  • Must have and maintain a good driving record
SCHEDULE: Various shifts primarily between the hours of 6:00AM and 5:00PM except on inventory days where shift may be until 8:00PM.
All storeroom staff is required to work on inventory day, which is always the last day of the month

Essential Duties:                   
  • Receive deliveries, ensuring accuracy of order and quality of goods
  • Store and rotate inventory
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the storeroom
  • Sweep and mop work area, walk-ins, storeroom, dock, and stewards’ office
  • Report any shortages in deliveries to Manager
  • Assist in placing certain orders
  • Receive and log in UPS FedX deliveries and notify departments of packages
  • Deliver and pick up items to and from James River Clubhouse, Tennis Snack Bar, and Fitness Center
  • Pick up liquor from ABC warehouse and deliver to the appropriate departments
  • Make daily bank deposits
  • Fill requisitions and accurately enter charges in the computer system
  • Assist with monthly inventory (last day of each month is mandatory work day)
  • Perform daily item counts and accurately and neatly record
Education and Experience:       
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
Experience preferred, but not required

The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job:
 
Employee is required to regularly stand and walk
Employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.
Employee is required to stand for lengthy periods of time
Employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions
Employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers
Employee is regularly required to stand and reach with hands and arms
Employee is regularly required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
 
Driving REQUIREMENT:
Must be at least 18 years old to drive motor vehicles (16 with valid license for carts)
Must maintain acceptable driving record
** All candidates must provide clean driving record from DMV at the time of interview.
                           
Minimum Age Requirement:
It is Club policy not to hire any employee under the age of 16
Must be at least 18 years old in order to serve alcohol
Must be at least 21 years old in order to tend bar (includes all Banquets serving staff)
