Description
SUMMARY: Provide quality and timely food and beverage service to members and guests.
 
EXPECTATIONS:
  • Provide platinum service while maintaining a clean and safe environment for members, guests, and staff
  • Know and embrace the mission statement and platinum service basics
ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):
  • Provide immediate attention to all members and guests upon seating
  • Greet members at table and answer menu questions
  • Promote daily specials and take food and beverage orders accurately
  • Place orders with kitchen and inform cooks of any special instructions
  • Deliver food and beverages and ensure member satisfaction
  • Remove soiled dishes
  • Verify accuracy of prices, tax, and tips; operate Point-of-Sale computer system
  • Assist server assistants with clearing and resetting tables as needed
  • Advise supervisor/manager of any complaints as soon as they occur
  • Perform clean-up and closing duties as assigned by manager
  • Complete opening and closing side work
  • Attend line-upmeetings as scheduled
  • Assist with the training of new servers
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Less than high school education and previous serving experience strongly preferred.
 
SCHEDULE: Part-time, seasonal position averaging 4-5 shifts/week.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk and stand for lengthy periods of time. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Employee is regularly required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Employee is also required to stand and reach with hands and arms and regularly use hands and fingers.

While performing the duties of this job during the summer season, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. 
 
MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT:
Must be at least 18 years old in order to serve alcohol and at least 21 years old to tend bar (includes all Banquet serving staff). The Grill serves alcohol; applicants must be at least 18 years old for this position.
