Summary: Assist the Department Manager in directing the Housekeeping, Laundry, Locker Room, and Banquet Set-up operations for the Westhampton property. Ensure cleanliness and proper presentation of all areas.

Essential Duties:

-Have a working knowledge of each job classification in the department

-Assure that Platinum standards are met

-Assist in training and developing staff

-Oversee the set-up and break-down of banquet rooms, ensuring the presentations meet established standards

-Handle and store all chemicals in accordance with OSHA regulations

-Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies, paper goods, member amenities and all other supplies required for daily operation of departments; order supplies as needed

-Oversee the maintenance and repair of equipment

-Assist in the development and management of departmental budgets

-Attend CCV Professional Development Seminars

-Fulfill duties of Manager in Manager’s absence


Supervisory Responsibilities:

Directly supervise 25-35 employees, including one supervisor.

Responsible for overall direction and daily operations of the department. Duties include interview and selection of staff; training; plan, assign, review and inspect work; appraise performance; reward and discipline staff; address complaints and resolve problems; schedule employees and process payroll; facilitate staff meetings.


Education and Experience:

Minimum - High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent

Proven successful supervisory/managerial experience

Proficient in Microsoft Office systems

Employee is occasionally exposed to high levels of noise
