The Country Club of Virginia is seeking a passionate Housekeeping Supervisor. Primary responsibilities include ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the Club. Attention to detail and the ability to manage a team across a large campus are critical.
The Country Club of Virginia is one of the oldest and finest private, member-owned clubs and has been consistently ranked among America’s “Platinum” country clubs by the Club Leaders Forum. Located in Richmond, CCV was organized in 1908, and has always been one of the nation’s largest full-service country clubs. The Club’s 7,800+ members support 1,111 acres containing two superb clubhouses situated seven miles apart, 54 holes of golf, 24 tennis courts, 3 squash courts, 30,000 square feet of fitness facilities, and an aquatics complex featuring five pools. In season, CCV employs a staff of more than 600.
CCV is the host site of the 2016-2019 PGA TOUR Champions Dominion Energy Charity Classic golf tournament.
As a not-for-profit club with a $30 million operating budget, CCV has a very strong financial position, with meaningful capital reserved for regular reinvestment in and expansion of its facilities. The Club’s conservative fiscal policies and strong membership base allow for achievable financial expectations and provide operating budgets consistent with its high standards.
Essential Duties include:
Supervise a diverse team of 30-40
Oversee housekeeping, laundry, locker rooms, and event set-up
Recruit, train, develop, and oversee a strong team
Work evening, holiday, and weekend hours as required
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a skilled leader with proven supervisory experience. Attention to detail and organizational proficiency are essential.
Education and Experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
At least one year of supervisory experience
Housekeeping experience in a limited-service hotel a plus
